1. How much are the tickets?
The festival has two ticketed performances at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, on the Wednesday and Thursday nights. Please check ticket prices here.
The remainder of the events are on outdoor stages and completely free to the public. No tickets required.
2. Where do I Park?
There are several places to park around the event at $1.50 per hour. These spots fill up early however and you are well advised to take public transportation to and from the event. The Oakville Go Station (not Bronte) is a 15 minute brisk walk but there is a FREE shuttle bus to and from the station.
2a. What is the Jazz Festival shuttle Bus schedule?
The shuttle bus for 2011 starts at 5:30 pm Friday and runs from the Oakville-Trafalgar GO Station every 15 minutes to Downtown (Dunn and Church). The last bus leaves downtown at 12:15am. The bus starts Saturday at 5:30pm and the last bus leaves downtown at 12:15am. There is no shuttle bus service on Sunday.
3. What is the telephone number for the Festival?
905-844-4520
4. Can I bring my dog?
Lots of people do. This is governed by municipal by-laws and common sense. There can be some crushing crowds and there is nowhere that we are aware of to quench your pet's thirst or allow them to relieve themselves in a hygienic manner. There are also a lot of open air food vendors so make sure you control your friend well. We saw a really huge Great Dane last year .. very cool.
